The first edition of NSE – New Space Economy European ExpoForum closes with great success. 140 exhibitors including enterprises, research centers, institutions and startups, 184 speakers among the most influential world experts in the space sector, 60 vertical sessions on data analytics, future markets, new mobility, new space economy, new finances and new services. And 11 side events, including megacostellations, women in aerospace and new moon, 2700 international attendees.
Compolab has carried out studies about innovative subjects of possible corporate and industrial interest within “BiDiCo” project (funded by Regione Toscana, Regione Toscana, POR CReO FESR 2014-2020 Bando “AIUTI AGLI INVESTIMENTI IN RICERCA SVILUPPO E INNOVAZIONE ”di cui al DECRETO 30 luglio 2014 n. 3389 BANDO 3). The studies principally focused on composite materials and nano technologies, on light weight alloys with particular concern about magnesium alloys and on experimentation of innovative thermal and chemical treatments.
In order to elaborate the information properly, Compolab made use of database, updated and upgraded by experienced team, to make possible to intersect involved companies possible requirements.

With the Executive Decree RT 06/11/2015, Tuscany Region has approved the financing of the project “Young in Business” where COMPOLAB SRL is in parternship with SERVINDUSTRIA PISTOIA SRL, ASCOM SERVIZI SRL, CESAT SOC.COOP, SAPERI APERTI SOC.COOP, NEXT TECNOLOGY TECHNOTESSILE SRL, CONFINDUSTRIA TOSCANA NORD, CONFCOMMERCIO IMPRESE PER L’ITALIA DELLA PROVINCIA DI PISTOIA, CONFARTIGIANATO IMPRESE PISTOIA. The goal of the project is to provide the participants with specific skills and knowledge to undertake initiatives of indipendent job (register for VAT) or Microenterprise.
Tuscany Region, with the decree n.5906/2015 concerning the ranking approval of the bid n.2 “SMEs research and development projects” – POR FESR 2014-2020 – Calls for financial helps in research, development and innovation investments, has approved the funding of our_PROJECT “BI.DI.CO.”_ related to the realization of a _”DYNAMIC LIBRARY”_that allows to gain knowledge and advanced skills on technologies and materials in order to attain new markets opportunities.
D.D. 6439 – 12/12/2014 – ANNOUNCEMENT FUNDS TO SUPPORT MSME FOR THE ACQUISITION OF INNOVATIVE SERVICES – POR CREO FESR 2007-2013 LINEA 1.3B – POR CREO FESR 2014-2020 ASSE 1 – PRSE 2012-2015 LINEA 1.1B – The announcement for the acquisition of innovative services, addressed to Tuscan MSME (single companies or partnerships), has been published. In line with the “Smart Specialisation” strategy, innovation projects related to technological priorities will be funded: ICT and PHOTONICS, SMART FACTORY, CHEMISTRY and NANOTECHNOLOGY. The contributions are non repayable, at variable %. It is possible to get advance payments on the investments. Compolab can offer its collaboration regarding the assistance on the draft and submission of the project and it can participate as qualified supplier. First deadline: 30/04/2015, h. 17:00.
04th-06th of February 2015 – Carrara: Compolab takes part for the first time as exhibitor in the 13th edition of Sea Technology & Design “Seatec” of Carrara, unique international fair in Italy regarding technologies, sub-supply and design for boats, yachts and vessels. Given the closeness to the production sites which represent the excellence in super-yacht manufacturing, Seatec is the ideal context to host a sector fair which highlights the Made in Italy quality. Seatec is held in conjunction with Compotec, the international exhibition dedicated to composite materials and related technologies, where Compolab presents its own stand with the partnership of MG12 cluster, a Bolognese organization whose mission is focused on the advanced study of the technologies and products specialized in magnesium alloys.
16th-19th of December 2014 – Florence: Compolab participates with its own stand, particularly focused on carbon fiber applications, in the International Electric Vehicle Conference IEVC, a worldwide symposium that serves the global engineering community as a leadership platform to identify market, technology and standardization opportunities for electrified vehicles and related infrastructure. Key executives of the private and public sector, academic leaders, and standardization experts will contribute to an interactive dialogue on how to develop the transportation electrification ecosystem.
30th of October 2014: Compolab deliberates a capital increase and extends its shareholders to external partners that don’t belong to the founding members group. The company DLC Capital Holding Ltd, located in Australia and represented by Mr. Damian James Cessario, decrees a part of the capital increase, thus validating an already existing strategic collaboration which, sharing common goals, should contribute to the society business development and its internationalization.
