April 2012: Reliability and Technologies Fair – Turin

Compolab has participated at the 7th edition of the Reliability and Technologies Fair held in the Lingotto Fiere Congress Centre of Turin. Reliability and Technologies is an Italian exhibition dedicated to methods, solutions and technologies for competitive Innovation, which aims to promote commercial and technological meetings among Italian and international companies.

May 2012: Training courses for internship in Ansaldo Breda.

Ansaldo Breda has commissioned Compolab to select young new-graduates in engineering aiming to integrate them in the company. After the first stage of interviews, it has followed the preparation of the candidates through training classes dedicated to the main subjects of mechanical engineering and business organization: mechanical design elements, CAD software use, RAMS, study of the regulations on railway vehicles dimensioning and welding technologies, structural calculations and PDM.

October 25-27, 2011: Aerospace and Defence Meeting – Turin

Compolab has participated from the 25th to the 27th of October at the Aerospace and Defence Meeting of Turin, an international business convention for the aerospace and defence industry.

During the meeting Compolab stand, set up with the co-partnership of FlyBy, a consolidated
high-tech company in Leghorn which operates in the aerospace sector, has been visited by a variety of Italian and international aerospace companies.

July 2011: Management of the Regional Pole for Innovation in Mechanics: Polo 12

Starting from July 2011, Tuscany Region has designated Compolab S.r.l. as Managing Company of the Regional Pole for the Innovation in Mechanics: Polo 12.

Polo 12 was born to support the technological transfer and the innovation of Tuscan enterprises within the automotive and mechanics sectors; it is composed by a regional network of six training, consultancy, and technological transfer centres which are able to offer qualified services designed for processes and products improvement such as testing, materials experimentation, ICT design, prototyping, technological accuracy, benchmarking.

Polo 12 is directed to a mechanical branch which includes not only automotive, railway or aerospace sectors, but also precision mechanics and robotics; consequently it consists as well of those machine productions and systems which can be used in energetic, pharmaceutical, medical and textile sectors.
